Prentice Ray

Prentice D. Ray Jr. born in Georgia September 5, 1930 passed away suddenly December 19, 2022 in Naples, Florida.

Known as P.D Ray started his General Contractor career in the 1950’s in Miami, Florida. He moved his family to the Keys in the late 70’s where he worked with Pinewood Construction on Big Pine Key. P.D built numerous homes from Key Colony Beach to Shark Key, as well as Little Palm Island. P.D had a love for antique cars and was in numerous car
shows from Marathon to Key West.

P.D. Ray has now joined his parents, Prentice D. Ray Sr. and Bertha Floyd, 5 brothers and 2 sisters in heaven.

He leaves behind his surviving children, Donna Ray -Kentucky, Cynthia (John) Thomas – Alabama, Connie (Mark) Long – Naples. Grandchildren, Daniel (Melody) Tiziani, Michael (Kayla) Tiziani, Courtney Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, Caitlyn Long and Taylor Long. Great grandchildren, Colton Thomas, Payton Thomas and Dixie Tiziani.

Naples Funeral Home and Miles Funeral Home in Georgia are handling all the arrangements for his final resting place next to his parents in Fishing Creek Cemetery in Lumber City, Georgia
