Phyllis Antosca

Phyllis Rose (Lozupone) Antosca, 94, passed away at Discovery Village, Naples, Florida on Sunday, November 27, 2022. Born March 24, 1928, in Washington, DC, she lived in Washington, DC, Westbury, NY, Ventnor, NJ and Naples, FL, graduated from Saint Cecilia’s Academy and worked for the Dept. of the Interior and the Teamsters Local 816 until retiring in 1988. Phyllis was a member of the Lido Club, Son’s of Italy and was a member and President of the Ventnor Margate Lioness Club.
Survivors include her children Joseph and Karen Antosca, Nicolette Sciscilo, Stephen and Connie Antosca, Gina and Peter Daddio, and daughter-in-law Mary Antosca; sister Rosalynn Petrasek and sister-in-law Eloise Lozupone; grandchildren Jeffrey and Tess Sciscilo, Nicolas and Alexandra Antosca, Cara and Dan DeChristopher, Kyle and Mary Kathryn Daddio, Stephanie and Jiwon Bae, Kerri and John Farrell, Kelsey and Owen Affe, Christopher Daddio, Gianmarco Antosca; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Jack, Colette, Josephine, Lucia, John, Joseph, Mitchell and John Carlo and her many beloved nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her son Robert, her son-in-law Jeffrey, her brother Dominic and her parents Asunta and Joseph Lozupone.
Memorials may be given to the March of Dimes. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 2nd from 6pm-8pm at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Rd., Linwood. The next day, Saturday, December 3rd, a viewing will be held from 10:30am-11am, at St. James Church, 6415 Atlantic Ave., Ventnor, followed by Mass beginning at 11am.
