This is extremely sad news for many of us who had the honor of working with Nick. He was a true professional, who made those around him better. He was incredible talented in the hospitality business, and led by example and with humility. We shared a lot of laughs along the way. He was a terrific person too, and a good friend. He will be missed. So very sorry for his family.

This is heartbreaking. Nick gave me a chance and was part of the growth in my career. He always welcomed me and accepted me as I was. The world was a better place because of him.

Nick and I worked together at two restaurant chains and I can’t say enough about his knowledge or leadership. I considered him a friend and I respected him so much. So sad to hear about his sudden passing.

I spent many years working with Nick as well as for and around the entire Raucci family. We were young, sort of, full of passion and a desire for the restaurant industry. It is with a great compassion and condolences to a family that was always a family to me and to someone who will forever remain a part of my memories of what got me to where I am today. God bless everyone.

My heart hurts for you, Wendy, and your boys. Nick was such a wonderful husband, Dad, and friend to so many. I’ve been going through my memories of all the fun work days and family trips we enjoyed together over the years. They weren’t often but definitely most enjoyable memories, all the way back to 1992. He will be greatly missed by all. Rest easy Nick, until we see you again. ❤️
