May 4, 1927 – September 9, 2023

Netebel M. Simpson, “Ms. Coolie”, 96 years old of Naples, Florida passed on September 9th, 2023. Netebel was born on May 4th, 1927, on the beautiful island of Saint Catherine, Jamaica.

Since arriving in the United States on September 14th, 1992, 31 years ago, she has been a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church and choir.

Netebel leaves behind 9 of 13 children: Ms. Dottie, Ms. Ilene and Ms. Pearl (twin sisters), Mr. Louie, Ms. Maggs, Mr. Nasua, Mr. Brother, Ms. Claire, and Ms. Navlette. Also, an abundance of grand, great grand, great-great grandkids, and let’s just say six generations of kids. Too many names to list.

Netebel loved her Church, and God. She loved to sing and rejoice in the Holy name. She loved sitting outdoors to enjoy the sun and nature. She was petite but full of spirit.

The Simpson family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00am, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1003 3rd Avenue North, Naples, Florida 34102.
