To all of you who knew Nina, my words cannot express this great sadness. She was such a beacon to all who knew her as she worked so very hard and never complained. If anything, she helped defer your load without skipping a beat, knowing you maybe had a tough day. I am just so very grateful that I had the opportunity to know her and have had her in my life. She was truly a gift to me.

Dear Nina’s Family, so sorry to hear of Nina’s passing, she was always a joy to fly with. We flew together in Chicago and also New York. She was full of life and so much fun! She was also very brave to be among the flight attendants to model the new uniform…I’m sure she took all of the opinions in stride!
Last time we worked together we flew to Greece…She will be missed. Peace and comfort to the family, may her memory be eternal.

I am so saddened to hear about Nina’s passing. I used to live in Naples so I have met Nina on many occasions while commuting to/from NY. One of my fondest memories of Nina was when I was a brand new hire and my body hadn’t quite adjusted to flying yet. I was constantly sick while in the air and on this particular flight was no different. We hit turbulence and I hit the lav. I was so sick I couldn’t do the service. Nina was jumpseating (just catching a ride and not a working crew member) on that flight and without hesitation she jumped on the cart and did the entire service in my place while I sat in the back and recovered. I was so touched by that. Last time I saw Nina was early last year and I mentioned that day to her. She just smiled and said “Oh don’t worry about it. That’s what we do here”. She was such a sweet soul and we at Delta are truly saddened to have lost such a kind friend and coworker. We will miss her dearly. Rest easy Nina.

Prayers to Nina’s family.
I am a Delta Flight Attendant. I have MANY very fond memories of dear, sweet, FUNNY Nina. In the Chicago lounge, on the airplane, on several layovers, and talking on the ORD employee bus. She was always great to work with and fun to be around. We shared lots of laughs. My heart goes out to you! Nina was a wonderful gal! And we, her Delta family, sure did love her and will truly miss her. RIP Nina ❤️
With much sympathy,

Nina and I would laugh and laugh in the back of the airplane about all kinds of things. She loved talking about her daughter and was soooo proud of her. Nina had a zest for life. She will be missed by all the “turn” people in New York.
