Aunt Arlene
You were always a beautiful person. You were out there. You dared to be different but that was always a good thing. You were your own person. You loved us and we loved you. You retired to Florida to live the dream. Hopefully now that dream will come to fruition and live on forever. In our hearts, you will live on forever.
We’ll miss you
Love

I am Arlene’s son, Richard.
Mom’s presence will always shine brightly on the altar of my Heart.
I celebrate Mom’s life, her finishing, and her journey beyond.
Much gratitude and appreciation for Arlene’s friends, family and my dear sister Lori, who were able to help and be there with Mom in ways I couldn’t be.
I would be sad if Mom and I missed out on the sacredness of who we were together, the lessons of Love and the integrity of the experiences we shared.
But we found our rhythm of joy together in our relation, and our integrity of purpose, fulfilling our lessons in healing and Love.
So I am left happy and fulfilled, proud that you were my Mom. Our connection will always remain like an eternal guiding Light.
And I’ll remember your fortitude and your caring motherly Love as I hear you say inside of me,” Don’t quit Rich, don’t give up.”
Thank you Mom for being you !! I Love you Mom !!

We were so sad to hear of Mom’s passing.
We met Arlene 55 yrs. ago in Bayside, NY. We were next door neighbors; we became friends. We were there when Lori & Richie were born!
We always kept in touch…our birthdays were in August so that’s the last time we spoke.

Lori and Richie… now you have wonderful memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hugs to you both, Annette & Bernie Jacobs

Aunt Arlene (a/k/a “Aunt Cookie”) was full of life, had a great personality and a wonderful sense of humor. She was a sweetheart. She wrote a beautiful tribute about her nephew, Larry, which I read at his 50th birthday party. She had a huge heart which was matched by her generosity. I loved listening to her voicemails – she had a very young voice and always sounded so positive and upbeat, no matter how much pain she was in. I hope she is finally resting in peace along with her older brothers, Harvey & Ed. I am certain she is making them laugh out loud, as she did so many times with her family. For all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her – you will always be in our hearts. We miss you, we love you and we will cherish all the lovely memories you gave us.

I will always remember Arlene as a funny beautiful lady. I haven’t seen her for a number of years but I can recall when I did see her she always had something to say to make me laugh. She was a very strong, independent special lady. She was my very dear friend Lori’s mother and I will be forever grateful to her for giving life to my beautiful friend. My sincere condolences and prayers to her family and friends. Rest In Peace Arlene.
