Ms. Andrea Serras
August 27, 1957 – January 25, 2021

Andrea L. Serras passed away on January 25, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Andre fought for the last 2 years like a Greek Goddess Warrior battling cancer and she did a “dang good” job.

Andre worked in the restaurant business from a young age. She started working alongside her father and her brother LeGrande in Peggy’s Restaurant and later with her brother John at Zuckermans Deli.

Other than the birth of her children, the happiest day of her life was moving from Schenectady, New York to live in Florida. She felt that living in Florida brought the Serras family closer together. Sunday dinners with family were an integral part of the Serras family life. Andre credits her brother Dennis for giving this tradition as a gift to the family. It continues to this day. Another one of the joys in her life was spending time with family every summer in Greece.

While in Florida, Andre truly felt honored to assist four of the finest families in Naples: Parker and Miles Collier, Patti and George Wagner, Miss Claire and Dick Mohn, and Ann and Bill Bain.

Andre was pre-deceased by her beloved parents Louis and Constance Serras and her brother Dennis T. Serras. She is survived by her amazing children, Alexandra Colby Serras/Scardino and Dennison Elias Serras/Scardino, and one of the most joyous blessings in her life, her granddaughter, Sophia Ballesteros. She is also survived by her brothers, John Serras and LeGrande Serras and her nieces, Alisha Serras, Niki Serras, Madison Serras, Monroe Serras, Aliki Serras, and nephew, Elias Serras.

Family and friends will gather for visitation at Naples Funeral Home on Thursday, January 28, 2021, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Gatherings are limited to forty people at a time, and guests are encouraged to wear masks.
