Dear Adam–
Much love to you in the passing of your angel mother. I was sorry to see she is gone. She and Joe were lovely people and so integral to our grief support community in Fort Myers. The dinners they hosted monthly at Nino’s for many years will be remembered fondly, but mostly I will remember how, when I first lost my husband in late 2010, they were the first to welcome and support me in Fort Myers on my grief journey when I met them by accident at a support group at St. Columbkille Church. Later, they encouraged me to join the support group at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, and that began a several-year friendship, which included colorful stories from years past and even some eventful evenings (like the one I spent with your dad in the emergency room after he aspirated an artichoke). They were splendid and will be missed. Love to you and the entire family in this loss.–Kathy Riordan
