With a heavy heart we announce the passing of longtime member, and great friend, Mrs. Jane Benham. She was a treasure and a blessing to all that knew her and were loved by her. Our thoughts and prayers are with Neal and their family during this difficult time.

Obituary:

Jane A. Benham (Williams), born March 24, 1948 in Joliet, IL to Francis John (Jack) Williams and Eunice Marie (Peach Klee). She graduated from Silver Cross Hospital School of Nursing in Joliet, Il and worked at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL.

Jane married Neal R. Benham, DDS in 1968. They have two children Jill A. Benham from Arlington, VA and Joel W. Benham (Heidi), in Naples.

The couple lived in Fort Rucker, AL while Neal was in the Army and then moved to Eau Claire, WI to raise their family. She was an avid hockey and swim mom. Daily aerobics and exercise were a top priority. She was a charter member of “Team Chardonnay.” Golf and bridge games were weekly musts in both Wisconsin and Florida. One of her best traits was being a “cheerleader” for her family and friends.

She will be missed by all that knew her and her infectious smile.

Dear Neal,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your wife Jane. I only met her at JT reunions but she was very sweet and so easy to talk too. You and your family are in my prayers.
I know how difficult this is having lost my husband of 48 years, 3 years ago.
May God Bless you.
