Mrs. Bernice Lynn Foster
February 22, 1956 – April 10, 2021

Bernice Lynn (Perkins) Foster went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2021 after years of battling myriad ailments. She was preceded in death by her mother & father, Pauline & Joseph Perkins; husband, Joseph Foster, Sr.; and two sons, Daniel & Randall Foster, Sr. She is survived by her children, Joseph, Jr. (Krystal) & Misty (Matthew Pagnotta); nine grandchildren, Joseph, III (Ashley Shipman), Dawson (Miranda), Kasi, Tessie, Madeline, Tara, Randall, Jr., Jacob & Ashley; and two great-grandsons, Oli & Joey. She is also survived by her siblings Brenda Houser (James), Wayne, Johnathan (Angela) and Jason (Megan) Perkins; plus, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins all throughout the country.

Lynn was born in Middletown, OH and moved to Naples in 1969, where she lived since. She graduated from Naples High and married the love of her life in 1974, having four children by 1981; she and Joe stayed married until his passing in April 2018. Lynn worked for Collier County in the 20th Judicial Circuit Probation Department for over 20 years, until she retired for health reasons in 2018. She had many jobs throughout the years, but always believed her most important job was being a mom and grandma, at which she excelled.

Lynn had an infectious laugh and a caring and gregarious demeanor. Ever the caregiver, she had a hard time asking for help from others, but was always there to lend a hand to those in need. She was a born-again Christian and a founding member of Trinity Bible Fellowship (formerly Estates Baptist Church) in Naples. She loved deeply and often gave more than she was able. She never met a stranger and left lasting impressions on anyone who was fortunate enough to cross her path.

Lynn was adored by many and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Join the family for a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at North Naples Baptist Church, 1811 Oakes Blvd, Naples, 34119. A gathering will be held following the service at the Housers’ residence. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to help cover unexpected medical bills and funeral costs.

What a beautiful tribute for a beautiful and loving soul…Lynn Foster. I have known Lynn for many years, we share 3 Grandchildren, and she was always a giving and loving person! I mourn with our shared Grandchildren, but knowing Lynn is with her Lord makes her passing easier to handle. To Joey Sr. and Misty, I’m thinking of you both and offer my deepest condolences! Your mother was a beautiful, loving, generous and funny person..I have never forgotten her!
Rest In Peace Lynn!

Lynn, you and I shared but a brief moment in our lives when we prayed together when your son Daniel (“D”) was called home to be with the Lord. Not too long before his passing did my family suffer the loss of my son Billy who was Daniel’s best friend for many years. My sons Billy, Ryan, Cory and Zach cherished the way you welcomed them into your loving home.
There is no doubt you are pain free and home with our Lord and Savior for you loved our Lord deeply and cared for the well-being of others over your own needs!
Thank you dear Lynn for being you…a true Christian! Thank you God for creating Lynn Foster! R.I.P. Lynn

Sending my thoughts and prayers to the Foster Family. Lynn taught Children’s Sunday School for many years, sharing her love and the best Potato Salad at many Church Dinners. I know she is reunited with Joe, Randy and Daniel, and her parents. God Bless you all our love. Carol Gonzalez, Owen, Sarah and Steven.

Aunt Lynn you were the strongest woman I’ve ever met. You had a Heart of Gold. Fair winds and following seas on your next great adventure. You will be dearly missed. I love you ❤️

Praying for Lynn’s family at this sad time. Sad for you but not for her.. she’s in Heaven with Jesus! We loved Lynn from the time we met and were so happy when she came to know the Lord as her Savior. She shared her faith with others…teaching and leading others to teach in Sunday School. She will be greatly missed!
