Mr. Thomas Richard Hession
November 26, 1943 – February 8, 2021
Thomas R. Hession, born in Brooklyn New York, passed away in Naples, Fl., following a cerebral hemorrhage.
Tom, a proud graduate of Brooklyn Prep, went on to attend the University of Dayton and Duquesne Law School. He was admitted before the Supreme Court of the United States In 1979.
While a law student, Tom was invited to Clerk for Judge Austin Staley, of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, a position he held until becoming an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau County, New York.Tom went on to become a founding partner of Hession and Bekoff, a well respected Mineola, NY law firm for over four decades.
Tom was a very joyful man who, along with Jackie, his wife of 52 years, hosted many gatherings of friends and family. His life was an exceptionally happy one filled with love and laughter.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Mary Hession, sister Patricia Sullivan, sister in law, Jean Savitt, brother in law Robert Ireton and nephew, Thomas Sullivan. He will be forever missed by his wife, Jackie, brother Lawrence Hession, sister in law Susan Hession, sister in law Lucy Ireton, Brother in law Rick Savitt as well as his nieces and nephews.

Dear Family of Tom,
I was fortunate enough to know Tom for several years at Brooklyn Prep. He was one of the best, always pleasant and a real joy to be with. I am so sorry for your loss. May he rest in eternal peace.
