Mr. David Williamson
October 29, 1937 – August 21, 2021

David E. Williamson, age 83 of Naples and formerly of Connecticut, passed away on August 21, 2021. David was born October 29, 1937 in Mineola, New York. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Winifred Williamson; and his sister, Patricia Williamson.

David is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia; children, Jeanne Iapaluccio (Michael), Stephen Williamson, Jennifer Williamson, and Barbara Coleman (Bill); step-children, Beth Kohler (Joe), Mick Barr (Joe), Tim Barr (Melissa), and Brian Barr; grandchildren David (Rebecca), Zoe, Aidan, Carolyn, Maggie, Nivea, Nina and two great-grandchildren, Lexington and Emersen; sister, Diane (John); numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

David was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, a hard worker, and a loving husband and father. He was also an avid golfer at Royal Palm Country Club and enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. Small in stature, but big in personality, David loved to laugh, eat, and spend time with friends and family. He took care of himself, both physically and mentally, often reading scientific journals and staying informed with the goings-on in the world. His presence will be greatly missed by those he leaves to cherish his memory.
