October 22, 1934 – November 9, 2023

Lambert Oliver Cleland (“Bert”) of Naples, Florida (Formerly from Pittsburgh, PA) went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2023.

Lambert is survived by his loving family, his wife: Debbie Cleland, his sister Yvonne (“Vonnie”) McClatchy, his daughters and their spouses: Diane (Dean) Logan, Laura (Bob) Jones, Jacqueline (Francisco) Calderon, his sons and their spouses / significant others Greg (Yvonne) Cleland, Christopher (Suzanne) Cleland, Sean (Mindy) Cleland, and Ryan (Emily) Cleland, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Lambert is the son of the late Lambert and Elizabeth Cleland and his infant son, Lambert Cleland.

Lambert was born in Pittsburgh, PA, before briefly moving to Rochester, NY and then Philadelphia, PA where he graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in 1952.

Upon graduation he went to work for Atlantic Refinery Company in Philadelphia PA, before serving in the Navy aboard the USS Opportune Rescue and Salvage Ship.

He lived in Philadelphia, then Doylestown, PA, where he raised his family and enjoyed a 35-year career as a Life Insurance Agent at Prudential. Bert was trusted and loved by all of his clients.

In 2002, Bert moved to Florida where he enjoyed his time as an avid golfer, a member of Saint Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, a Boy Scout Leader of Boy Scout Troop 165, and the number one fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles.
