Another classmate gone too soon. I remember playing basketball at John’s house when we were kids. RIP John.

Very sorry to hear the news if John’s passing. I played football with John in High School. He was fun, spirited guy. My condolences to John’s family and friends.

Polly, I’m so sorry for your loss of John, our families were friends all the way back when Ken and Peggy were in high school. We lived down the street from the Whitings and spent alot of our time at there home. Great Memories. My sincere condolences to all the Whiting Family. You and John will always be in our prayers.

A lot of great memories of John going all the way back to St Pats. Donna and I saw him and Polly just a few years ago in Naples. He kicked by butt in golf! Thoughts and prayers to the Whiting family.

I’ve known John since my brother dated his sister in the early 70’s. Then we became friends in HS and stayed friends to this day. He was a kind and compassionate soul. He will be missed. Deepest sympathies to Ken, Peggy and David.

Sending this to John’s family: John and I were great friends at CCHS and spent 4 years in Homeroom together. I saw him in Naples a few years back and he was still the lovely guy I remembered. A bunch of high-school girlfriends were visiting Naples and we connected with John and met Polly. I am so very, very sorry for your loss and will always remember John as the fun-loving, enthusiastic guy with a great laugh and a big heart ❤️
