Jean Marie Boutilier passed away peacefully May 9,2023 surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Jean was born in Big Rapids Michigan and was the daughter of

Jim and Beulah Hamlin. She married her highschool sweetheart, Skip Boutilier in 1953. They moved to Naples Florida in 1980. Jean loved to travel and visited many places around the world. She especially enjoyed cruising with family and friends. She had an inner “wild child” that enjoyed rollercoasters, zip-lining and parasailing well into her 80’s.Her greatest joys were serving her God Jehovah and being with her family. She was the matriarch of our family and kept us all close. She is survived by her children James (Debra) Boutilier and Michelle (Emilio) Mireles. Grandchildren- Tristen (David) Cruz, Jordan (Laura) Boutilier, Lindsay (Juan) Alcantara, Jason (Natalia) Boutilier and Ashley Mireles. Great grandchildren- Jenaye, Anthony, Elayna, Lilah, Kendyl, Sophie and Jacques. WE LOVE YOU GRAMME! Jean is also survived by her beloved sister-in-law Laurie Gascoigne and her nephew Jim Hamlin and niece Melissa Michael. She was preceded in death by husband Skip, son Jac, her parents and her brother James Hamlin.

A special thank you to Avow Hospice and their staff who showed such care, compassion and professionalism in helping to make Jean comfortable during her last days.

A memorial service will be held May 20, 2023 at

4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 3605 Guilford Road Naples. The service will also be on Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. Please text 239-734-0968 for connecting information.
