James Herb
December 18, 1939 – January 13, 2023

James (Jim) was born in Syracuse, New York but moved to Florida to enjoy the better weather. He was married to Ruth and had three daughters. He was a commercial fisherman, Captain of the St. James Fishing Vessel that was moored at Fort Myers Beach. He loved to hunt and go bowling. In the late years of his life, he loved to rescue cats and had up to 12 cats at one time. Jim was a veteran and he will be buried at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Missouri with gravesite full Military funeral honors.

Jim is survived by his ex-wife Ruth, Daughters, Debra, Donna and Sharon, and 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also, Jim had a close Friend, Pedro, who was there for him at the end of life.
