It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Evangelina Alas Sanchez, affectionately known as Eva, on June 19, 2024. Eva passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Eva was born on January 3, 1963, in San Juan Opico, La Libertad, El Salvador. She was a cherished daughter, sister, godmother, friend, and a devoted mother figure to Diana Aviles and Carlos Aviles. Eva’s life was a testament to her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for those around her.

Throughout her life, Eva touched the hearts of many with her generosity, vibrant spirit, and compassionate nature. She was a pillar of strength and a source of joy to her family and friends even in her last moments. Eva’s warmth, laughter, and loving presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The Alas-Aviles family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, at Naples Funeral Home, 3107 Davis Blvd., Naples, Florida 34104.

The funeral honoring Evangelina Alas Sanchez will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 3:00pm at Saint Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 5225 Golden Gate Pkwy, Naples, FL 34116.

Eva’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have provided support and comfort during this difficult time. Evangelina Alas Sanchez, our dear Eva, will forever remain in our hearts, cherished and remembered by many. We hope God receives her with open arms.

Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Evangelina Alas Sanchez, cariñosamente conocida como Eva, el 19 de junio de 2024. Eva falleció en paz, rodeada de su amorosa familia y amigos.

Eva nació el 3 de enero de 1963, en San Juan Opico, La Libertad, El Salvador. Fue una querida hija, hermana, madrina, amiga y una devota figura materna para Diana Aviles y Carlos Aviles. La vida de Eva fue un testimonio de su fortaleza, bondad y amor inquebrantable por quienes la rodeaban.

A lo largo de su vida, Eva tocó los corazones de muchos con su generosidad, espíritu vibrante y naturaleza compasiva. Fue un pilar de fortaleza y una fuente de alegría para su familia y amigos, incluso en sus últimos momentos. La calidez, risa y presencia amorosa de Eva serán profundamente extrañadas por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

La familia Alas-Aviles recibirá a los visitantes el jueves, 27 de Junio de 2024, de 5:00 PM a 7:00 PM en Naples Funeral Home, 3107 Davis Blvd., Naples, Florida 34104. El funeral en honor a Evangelina Alas Sanchez se llevará a cabo el viernes, 28 de Junio de 2024, a las 3:00 PM en la Iglesia Católica Santa Elizabeth Seton, 5225 Golden Gate Pkwy, Naples, FL 34116.

La familia de Eva desea expresar su más sincero agradecimiento a todos los que han brindado apoyo y consuelo durante este momento difícil. Evangelina Alas Sanchez, nuestra querida Eva, permanecerá para siempre en nuestros corazones, querida y recordada por muchos. Esperamos

Dear tia Eva,I can’t believe what happened you were always so loving to me I remember the day we went to El Salvador ,you were the one who helped got me baptized! Once you told me the day I die you will cry and say my favorite aunt died and the day happened.Yesterday I was talking about how I going to El Salvador for your burial and then I saw a avow care truck! Thanks for all the love you gave me and all the laughs, love you with all my heart! We love you and miss you!
