Dear Mom & Dad, here in Northeast PA, our County, we are in an Arctic polar deep freeze with whipping winds so frigid and the wind chill is intense, that we literally CANNOT be outside for 1 minute! It is life-threatening weather outside. We are under a “Code Blue Alert” which means “Stay Inside”. Do not go outside or you are risking your Life! I have been wearing a heavy duty ski outfit all day indoors and out for most of January and now into February. THIS is not Naples’s weather, as you can see from Heaven! There is no escape! I have to go outside at times and run quickly to my destination. It is -30 Wind Chill right now and even inside, you just can’t get warm. On that note, Mom & Dad, please say “Our Father’s, Hail Mary’s, and light candles in Heaven to light our way thru this dark and frigid Arctic deep freeze! God, please shield the Homeless, Destitude and all the Animals who must brave this horrendous weather! There is nothing more challenging than being “Cold”. Saint Jude, wrap your arms around all who are “Cold” this day and evening and until we can get livable temperatures to survive in! Thank You, Mom & Dad, for your endless prayers for our Wishes! Dear Mom & Dad, did you “see” the week we had with the unbelieveable snow storms? I am sure you are watching ‘from Heaven”. Yes, now, you can see what us up here in the Northeast US are dealing with. The shift of the convolution of the “Polar Vortex” has changed the trajectory of our weather patterns. We now, have much more “polar” air and “polar” snow storms. It just doesn’t get warm. I mean by 32 degrees Fahrenheit. It just doesn’t get there! Daily temps are in the 20’s. But, now, you can see! Experiencing Naples hot weather year round, it is easy to forget the weather the North gets. Well, now, you are in Heaven, and you are looking down on us and seeing the reality of our Fall and Winter. It has changed to Canadian weather, daily! Aren’t we lucky! Prayers, please! Dear Mom & Dad, as you can plainly see, from Heaven, we are experiencing a very harsh Fall and Winter! Tomorrow morning, we will be experiencing our 8th major Snow Storm since December 15th, 2022. The day temps are in the low 30’s and the late afternoon temps are in the 20’s, daily! What is “Warmth?” Don’t know! It’s been months since we felt warmth! We can’t possibly put any more layers of clothes on to keep us warm! Our heating bills are outrageous! Please open your Hearts and Pray for Us in PA and NY, who have these daily challenges of very cold and inclement weather and hang on to “Hope” that we have an early Spring! Thank you, Mom & Dad! Dear Mom & Dad, coldest Christmas Season ever! It is now 0 degrees Fahrenheit but real feel is minus 30 degrees! There is snow, ice, 40-50 mph whipping winds and just unbearable conditions. Please pray for us and our animals and hope we make it thru this safely and healthy! Each minute is truly unbelieveable! There is no easy way!

Dear Mom & Dad, up North, it is bitter cold, frequently snowing, temps at nite well below freezing and even with the heat on, it is still cold! I hope Heaven is warm and sunny each day for the both of you! Think of us down here! Winter came early and it is here for the long haul! Pray for our outdoor animals so they make it until the Spring! Dear Mom & Dad, Wow! What a Winter Storm, December 15, 2022. Well, we have sleet, freezing rain, ice and snow all in one Winter Storm. The temp is hovering around 32 degrees Fahrenheit but it is very cold and wet. Layers and layers of clothes do not keep you warm. I have ice grippers on and huge Winter boots. My socks are soaked and I have to change them often. I couldn’t make it out of my house down the steps too easily because they were ice and snow covered but finally made it to my SUV which I could not even move it due to the ice and snow covered slippery roads, so I had to get a ride everywhere. The road the home is on is impassable and will be for several days. Nothing like Florida weather today, Sunny and 85. Or for that matter, each Florida day is Sunny and 85. Please pray for us that we make it safe thru this devastating Storm, Mom & Dad! Love, Your Daughter, Mary in PA!
