Daniel Irving Cohen
December 21, 1939 – August 11, 2022

On Thursday, August 11, 2022, former Navy veteran and loving father and grandfather, Daniel I. Cohen passed away at age 82.

He was born, December 21, 1939 in Brooklyn NewYork to Powell and Marilyn Cohen. He recieved his degree in culinary arts from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY where he lived for many years before moving to Naples Fl to be closer to his family. He is predeceased by his parents and his sister, Janice Licato.

Daniel leaves behind his children. His son, Paul Cohen and daughter, Stefanie Cohen-Doyl. Son in law, Richard Doyl and two grandchildren, Analysa Doyl and Matthew Doyl as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was known for his constant smile, infectious laughter and consistent generosity. He will be miss dearly. In lieu of flowers, his family ask that you consider a donation in his name made to Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, FL
