Colette Jean Marie ( Tobola) Coomes passed into her new life on May 7, 2021. Born in Larium, Michigan on April 5, 1931, was educated at University of Detroit, Lansing Community College and Michigan State University.
Predeceased by her parents Edmund and Frances Tobola, sisters; Theodora, Evelyn and Elizabeth, her brother Kenneth, her son John and baby daughter Mary.
Survived by her husband of 70 years Francis ( Jerry) and sons Jamison, Patrick, Christopher and Thomas ( Julie); daughters Mary Ann, Jane ( Art), Ann ( Brian) and Jean ( Jim ).
She also leaves her grandchildren; Corina, Gram, Dustin, Tyler, Brea, Lee, Matthew, Colin, Steven, Jacqueline, Sarah, Rachel, Joshua, Amber, Madison, Carly, Thomas, Emily, Joseph, Colette, Allison and Easton and her great grandchildren; Shaylee, Jude, Riley, Shantel, Sadiya, Nyla, Lincoln, Miya, McKenzie, Norah, Eliyanah, Novah, Damarion, Preston and Wilder.
Colette respected every person she met. She was totally non judgmental with all people, and showed no anger or disrespect for anyone. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lived the most beautiful life, filled with grace and joy. She was very much looking forward to living this new life with her father.
