Lynette my friend, Rest In Peace!
As young women, we shared everything. There’s was nothing or no one to come between us. We pledged to make each other the best we could have been. Life took us in different directions but we remained firm in each other’s lives in spirit and picked up as if no break had happened. You were strong to the point of stubborn but usually right. We’ll meet again my friend. You’ll be missed.

To Lynette’s precious family –
The minute I laid my eyes on Lynette almost fifteen years ago, I knew she was a believer
She was a shining star, a woman of faith and great courage….a force to be reckoned
with and never ever forgotten. A daughter of the most High God for sure
2 Corinthians 5:8 – To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord
I can’t wait to see that smile again. You are loved and admired by so many – so very special you are. May the God of heaven comfort your family and give them strength and peace.

Love always,
Laura Swaggerty

Lynette was a Shinning Star, she was a true friend, she was a team builder, she was very compassionate, very meticulous, loving and Kind. It did not matter where you were or how difficult things seems to be, she always find a way to resolve problems. We had so many plans to reach for the stars together. There was nothing to much for her to give. She has transformed many lives and still transforming lives. We are not saying goodbye, we know that we will meet again someday. Rest In Peace in the arms of the one who created you, Our soon coming King. The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We miss you dearly my friend.

Lynette, my friend, I will miss our phone calls. Your phone calls wanting to know, “You set your fruits yet?” And your request for “black cake” our special Xmas rum cake and other Trinidadian goodies. I will miss your visits when you come to collect your goodies. We sang and danced and reminisced about Trinidad and the times we shared in Davis. I will miss our chats about your different entrepreneurial endeavors and adventures. You were a wonderful friend. Most importantly you took your role of being a mother very seriously. Your love for your son Sidiku was immeasurable. Sidiku know that your mom loved you to infinity and she will be in your heart eternally.
Condolences to Sidiku, Hazel, Derek and Lystra and Hayden. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Heights by great people reached and kept are not reached by sudden flight. But they, while their companions slept, were upward toiling through the night. That is the story of the Lynette I knew. She endeared herself to me and others in so many ways. She was my Sister and I will never relinquish the find memories I hold in my heart of our relationship. May many such memories serve to comfort those of us left behind especially her only son Sidiku. God bless

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
There is a voice that says, “Grieve not for me and don’t worry about the fall”.
Remember the good times, the laughter, the girlsguide songs.
Remember the good life lived and shared with all.
Continue her heritage, she’s counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
She is at ease, her soul is at rest and surely we will be together again.

Lynette, you will be missed by all, your positive energy will live on. Condolences from the Saunders family in Canada.

When Jesus was giving instructions to his followers in preparation for his journey to Calvary, he sensed their uneasiness, heartbreak and fear. He spoked these words.
“Peace I leave you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.”
May the Spirit of Comfort surround your hearts in this hour and days to come.
