Jeffrey Thomas Niemi, 63, of Naples, FL, passed away on September 5th with his wife and kids by his side after a valiant battle with esophageal cancer.

Born on May 8th, 1959 to Albert Thomas and Kay Marion Niemi in Detroit, MI. Growing up in St. Clair Shores and Fair Haven, Jeffrey established his love for boating early on Lake St Clair. He went on to serve his country in the Army, stationed in Germany. Jeffrey spent decades running his residential and commercial painting company servicing southwest Florida. His hard work ethic and drive for success in business set a priceless example for his Children to excel . He enjoyed traveling and taking his motorhome around the country. He was especially fond of Yellowstone National Park where he and his wife Anna spent 9 years taking in the beauty. Jeffrey was full of knowledge, the unofficial record holder for reading owner manuals cover to cover. This was a running joke with those around him; however, his drive to gather information gave him the ability to work on and fix just about anything. He was always the one that people called upon for advice or assistance to fix things. He was an empathic person who would always lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved to tinker which led to his hobby of working on and restoring pinball machines in his spare time. Jeffrey’s sense of humor was the gift that kept giving, as each day with him was truly a gift. He loved his life and his family. He will be deeply missed and his legacy will live on through his loved ones that he filled with knowledge and wisdom .

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Niemi; his sister, Roberta Lynn Morgan; his three children, Jeffrey Thomas Niemi, Jacklynn Rosemarie Falzon and Michael William Niemi; along with his 7 grandchildren and counting. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert Thomas and Kay Marion Niemi
