Raul “Ralph” Betancourt, Jr. left this world on Thursday, June 5^th, 2025, at Physicians Regional Hospital.

He was born on February 17^th, 1949, in Bronx, New York, the son of Raul and Alice Betancourt, but has been a Floridian since 2011.

After high school Raul Jr. joined the Navy where he proudly served from1969 to 1971, after finishing his service he went on to be a master of many jobs that led him to his Superintendent position with the New York City Housing Authority, retiring after 27 years.

Raul Jr. was predeceased by his mother Alice and son Shawn. He leaves behind his loving wife Iris (Romero), his father Raul Sr., and three loving children Lisa (Luecke), Debbie (Mizgier), and Mark. As well as brothers Alan and Steve.

He was also a proud grandfather, great grand-father, uncle and cousin.

Raul Jr. had many hobbies that he enjoyed from photography, tinkering around in his garage, going to the beach, but most of all he loved sharing memories, and stories especially of his family that he was so proud of and loved.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, June 12^th, 2025, from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Naples Funeral Home, 3107 Davis Boulevard, Naples, Florida 34104.
