Curtis Leon Sargent, age 84 of Naples Florida, formerly of West Chester Ohio, Anaheim California, and Hammond Indiana passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on January 7, 2024. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Ted Sargent, sister-in-law Barb Sargent, and sister Joyce Progar. Curt, aka “Sarge” retired from both Lever Brothers and Jergens as a packaging engineer. He was an avid fisherman, spending many hours on Lake Thadeus in Ontario Canada. Curt’s love of travel took him on many cruises, trips to Europe, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and the Caribbean. He visited all 50 states at least once and has a coffee mug from each one to prove it. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Villas of Greenwood Lakes Clubhouse, 5843 Greenwood Circle Naples, Florida 34112 on Wednesday January 17th from 12-2 PM. Please contact someone from the family for further instructions. An additional Celebration of Life will be held in Northwest Indiana in late Spring.

Curt Sargent 01-11-24
Very sorry to hear the sad news about Curt’s passing.
Curt was working as an engineer at Lever Brothers Company back around the late1980 when I had the pleasure of working with him. We worked on several soap bar improvement projects involving Dove and Lever 2000. Curt was the most respected engineer that I ever worked with. He was a practical engineer and a close friend. He will never be forgotten!

Sending condolences and prayers to the family of a friend who leaves us with very fond memories. Many fun talks and dinners together in Australia, New Zealand, and visits. Even lots of social media online was fun. He will be missed. Lots of love to Kittie and family.
