I did not personally know Barbie Hawker, however a dear friend of mine, Linda Hawker, did. She was very close to Barbie and, although they lived in different states, Linda was very close with both Barbie and her husband Steve and talked highly of both. It is nice to know that people can have friends so close and relationships so strong that it makes a bond that can never be broken. To have this kind of loss can bring an emotional loss of monumental proportion, however if we give ourselves & our souls the time to grieve and the time to heal the sun will come out again and the good memories will replace the sorrow in our hearts. To all of those who knew Barb & Steve I send you sincere sympathy and a wish that hearts will heal in time and good memories will replace the sadness.
