George was an incredible person. George was veteran and served for over 25 years in the United States Air Force. George also served his country in the form as an officer in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, both in Massachusetts and in Florida. George dedicated his life to his nation and his communities. He helped educate thousands of people on boating safety requirements and fishing vessel regulations. George sponsored and donated coins to the graduates of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT.
In addition, George lost his wife Theresa DeCaro two weeks before his own passing. Theresa also dedicated her life to helping others. Theresa was a teacher at Suffolk Academy in CT for over thirty years. After her retirement, she grew flowers and vegetables to distribute to neighbors and friends. She was generous and always had a positive attitude.
