With Great regard for Mike and Tammy both Sandy and I grieve the loss of their son Zach. Zach was a handsome, caring and giving guy. He was strong and Brave. As a Marine sent to Iraq his strength and endurance in frontline action proved his love for country and all Americans. We owe him in the largest way possible. We saw and were with him many times and enjoyed his friendship and the respect he gave to others. We will miss him and will not forget him. Our love to Tammy and Mike and Darlene and Ed

Dear Zach,
It is fitting that trees are being planted to memorialize your beautiful Spirit. Just like God’s magnificent Creation, you stood tall, you were strong, you endured, you were resilient, you offered protection, you always looked up towards the Light. Just like the branches of a tree you grew up and out to touch the hearts of as many as you could.
May you Rest in Peace Brave Soldier, Courageous Warrior, Sweet Kind Gentle Soul.

Dear Tammy and Mike,
There are so many beautiful, happy, hopeful, loving, proud moments that defined Zach. May the memories of those times bring you Comfort and lift you up. We are Blessed to have known Zach.

There are no words how saddened I am to hear about this great warrior… I will never forget those days at Arrowhead Springs. Zach was always riding his dirt bike… All day long he would ride! Only taking breaks to stop over and talk about sports while I was fileting trout.

Zach gave me a pink stone shaped as a heart. He said he felt called to share that with me as it provided peace. Zach had no idea that during that time in my life I was searching desperately for peace. It meant a lot to me and I’m so thankful for that moment in my life and our deep conversation about life.

I’m sorry it’s taken me this long to reach out, this has been hard for me to process. I was very close with Zach in the marine corps but we parted ways when we both got out and I always regretted not staying close. I love you brother I’ll see you in heaven may God bless your family during these times.
